DESCRIPTION
In the Kardemomme Filmstudio in Dyreparken in Kristiansand, we have set up a rig which lets an actor see and talk to the audience in real time with a digital twin of Police Chief Bastian on a large screen.
This make an exciting twist for audience witch believe the content on the screen is pre recorded.
The rig is set up with several Optitrack cameras, a mocap suit and iPhone for face tracking.

Epilepsy
DESCRIPTION
Epilepsy is a diagnosis characterized by seizures, but for many, the psychosocial consequences of living with seizures are an equally significant challenge. The fear of seizures in public spaces is a common concern for someone with epilepsy, and many individuals with epilepsy describe a lack of understanding or fear from people around them when they experience a seizure in public. The Epilepsy Association approached us with a desire to create something that depicts how seizures can be experienced. Not only the physical aspect but also the experience of stigma, fear, and preconceived attitudes from the surrounding environment.
The objective of the project was to develop VR training that would be used to foster understanding of how people with epilepsy themselves experience seizures and the social implications associated with them. The VR experiences have been utilized for healthcare professionals at the Specialized Hospital for Epilepsy (SSE), in schools, and during various activities organized by local chapters.

About the universe
DESCRIPTION
About The Universe is a VR project developed together with the Latvian company Binoklis. The VR experience is designed for and distributed to school youth in Latvia, where groups of 30 students can experience and interact in the experience at once.
It is based on the New Riga Theater performance “Briefly about the Universe”. Using 360 3D video, photogrammetry and CGI, a universe is created designed to promote natural science and encourage imagination and creativity in children, which is the very definition of the target group Qvisten wants to reach.

The Hyper Accelerator
DESCRIPTION
Award winning 4D ride at Hunderfossen Fairytale Park in Norway. The ride is an adventure where the fictional inventor Reodor Felgen introduces the audience to his theories about the clean fuel of tomorrow. To prove he is right he takes them on a truly kick-ass test ride, an amazing 4D experience. The ride consists of four vehicles with eight seats apiece, a 16.5 by 5.3 meter screen, water, smoke and physical interaction with the participant.
The ride won gold at the 2021 TEA Award for best park attraction under 10 million USD.
Qvisten has made the characters, concept, story, design and the animated films.

Cattle Hill
DESCRIPTION
KuToppen Farm Detectives is an engaging Hidden Object Adventure game tailored for young explorers, available on iOS and soon to be released on Android. Players join Klara and Gaute in unraveling mysteries through tactile exploration and interactive mini-games, each designed for small, curious fingers. This game transcends the typical Hidden Object genre by integrating short, captivating narratives and challenges that foster skills like problem-solving and patience. It’s an ideal co-playing experience for children and their parents. Additionally, the app is free to download, making it easily accessible for all to enjoy.
Parcade (In Devopment)
THE PROJECT
The name is based the gaming arcades there the youngsters meet each other before. Nowadays to many of them are just staying home. We want them to meet each in parks or other green urban areas. To do this, we are developing a location-based gaming platform to engage and socialize young gamers.
Parcade’s goal is to motivate players to visit a Parcade park alone or with a friend and engage in various activities while in the park. The common thread in Parcade is the player’s personal avatar. This avatar represents them in the entire Parcade universe and will accompany the player in all the mini-games. The overarching goal is to top the high score lists, collect Parcoins so that your Parcad’r can upgrade and look better. Our goal is to first have multiple Parcade parks in Norway and the Nordic countries, all using the same app and the player’s consistent user profile. The focus group strongly desires interactive avatars that can be styled and personalized. Later we will conquer the rest of the world.
Parcade is open to all possibilities, all pronouns, and all sizes. Here, children will design their own characters based on what they think is cool and what makes them most comfortable. Parcade offers players the chance to “win” new clothing, styles, and equipment to use for their characters, giving them a unique look. This also increases engagement in events and activities where such assets are offered, motivating them to visit the park for gameplay and new challenges.

Synnøve Finden
DESCRIPTION
A series of short animated ads for different Synnøve products. We gave life to new awarding identity to Synnøve Finden. The ads were made to grab the viewers attention online and it worked very well. 90% did see them to the end without skipping.
